This portal https://test‑takers.psigov.us/irs/auth/login is the official online login site for the Special Enrollment Examination (SEE, also known as EA exam), administered by PSI Services under contract with the U.S. IRS starting in 2026. The former testing vendor Prometric no longer provides SEE‑related services. Before registering here, candidates are required to obtain a valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) from the IRS official website. The platform supports full‑function operations including account creation, candidate profile management, PTIN submission, selection of physical test‑center or remote‑proctored at‑home exam modes, time‑slot booking and online payment. Each exam part costs $317 USD, payable by Visa, MasterCard or American Express at the time of scheduling. Test‑takers can reschedule or cancel appointments, retrieve confirmation numbers and view score reports. Confirmation emails will be sent once booking finishes. This site only handles SEE registration and test‑administration work, rather than issuing the final Enrolled Agent credential; formal EA enrollment application must be submitted separately to the IRS.
