ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global professional accounting body with over 250,000 members and 500,000 students across 180 countries. It is the world's largest and most respected professional accounting body. ACCA is the founding member of the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) and a principal member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). In 1999, the United Nations adopted the International Education Outline for Professional Accountants, based on ACCA's curriculum, as a benchmark for professional accounting education worldwide.
